Quota Members at their Region 9 Meeting in New Orleans

Washington, DC, February 28th, 2018 – Quota International has welcomed more than 1,200 new members in 14 countries over the past three years.  There is a lot of information for new members to catch up on with nearly 100 years of service offered by 5,000 Quotarians empowering women, children, the deaf, hard of hearing, and speech impaired in 250 communities.

Led by Alison Watterson, the Membership Team has created a 20 page, full-color New Members Guide for members, clubs, and regional directors.

In January, after three years working with membership, Alison Watterson assumed a new role as the Organizational/Organisational Development and Strategy Manager overseeing membership management and growth.  In her new position, she continues to gather data on membership to aid in strategic planning, and has also expanded into the development of club and regional leadership.  Alison also serves as a key leader of the Membership Team, overseeing the administration of membership, training staff on best practices, and the transition into a new fiscal year.

Alison has a Master’s degree in International Development, where she learned how to  implement community projects on the international and local scale.  She has over six years of experience working with international non-profits and community groups in various countries around the world.  With these skills and experiences, Alison is looking forward to developing more resources for Quota leaders that will help Quota grow.
