Since 2007, 20 February is recognized as the World Day of Social Justice by the United Nations and its supporters. Recent events in China, the United States, France, and India have continued to shed light on the persistent fight to end human rights violations and protect the under-served and underrepresented. Quotarians around the world work every day to restore dignity and hope in the lives of women and children in seemingly hopeless situations. World Social Justice Day is reminder to all of us, that the battle for equal rights is far from over; but by working together, we get a little closer each day to providing peace of mind for those suffering from injustice.
