Remembering the Past: International Holocaust Remembrance Day

27 January marks the day of observance for those who lost their lives and loved ones during the Holocaust, from 1933-1945. Around the world, the Holocaust stands as one of the darkest periods in history. Remembering the who, what, and why of it reminds us everyday of how far we have come, how grateful we can be for each day, and how important it is to use our past to grow instead of to hold us back.
