Minute for Mission: Fort Lauderdale Quotarians Award Scholarship to Gallaudet Student

It is no surprise to the Quota family, that giving is essential to everything the organization accomplishes. Time, clothing, food, and supplies are freely donated by Quotarians everyday, embolding Quota’s mission through every service project.

In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, Quotarians awarded a scholarship to Francisco He Joa, a sophomore at Gallaudet University, to assist with covering tuition costs.  Francisco is studying Accounting in Gallaudet’s Business school working toward becoming a certified Public or Management Accountant.

Gallaudet University is the world leader in liberal education and career development for deaf and hard of hearing students. The University enjoys an international reputation for its outstanding programs and for the quality of the research it conducts on the history, language, culture, and other topics related to deaf people.

Thank you to the Quotarians in Fort Lauderdale who have made this scholarship a reality for Francisco!
