Quota International’s 2014 Convention marked an important turning point for all of the organization’s members. At Convention, members voted and approved new language for the Mission Statement-to empower women, children, the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired. At her installation, Quota’s newest International President, Karen Murphy, began to think about ways to celebrate and recognize the true and lasting impact Quotarians make every day.
When Karen announced her official President’s theme, she introduced her theme pin. Togetherness is at the heart of everything Quota does, and Karen’s theme to “put our hearts into Quota, and put Quota in our hearts” is essential to the growth of new and existing service programs are launched all over the world. The boomerang-shaped pin illustrates the message of unity and caring that every Quotarian believes is necessary to serve others.
Karen’s theme pin is now available for purchase, and will serve as a physical reminder of the support every Quotarian gives to neighbors in their community.
