Consider the Facts: Noise-Induced Hearing Loss

According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), exposure to familiar sounds can lead to noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Studies have proven that long or repeated exposure to sounds at or above 85 decibels can damage sensitive structures in our inner ear and lead to hearing loss.
