A real live Santa with hearing aids, made the holiday brighter for deaf kids and their parents, in Fargo, North Dakota, USA. Thanks to funding from Bell State Bank and Quota International of Fargo, many more children can sit on Santa’s lap without having to worry about the language barrier.
“It benefits my daughter because she gets more exposed to deaf people and a deaf Santa Claus, and exposed to seeing/hearing people here, too”, mom Brandi Peterson said. “It’s so exciting to see the little children be able to talk to Santa in their own language. It’s just heartwarming.”
