On 8 December, thanks to the efforts of Barbara Liskus and Janet Hughes, Quota International welcomed new club, QI of Logan, Logan Central, Queensland, Australia. Barbara will be serving as Club President and Janet, the club organizer, is a former district governor, club president, and long-time member of 22 years with QI of Jimboomba. Thank you Barbara and Janet for your commitment to change lives in your communities.
QI of Logan joins five other new clubs that have chartered in 2013: QI of Southwest Cebu, QI of Central Cebu, and QI of Sapang Palay-Bulacan in the Philippines, QI of Ohope in New Zealand, and QI of Macarthur also in Australia. With the addition of these new clubs, nearly 5,600 volunteers are serving deaf and hard-of-hearing and disadvantaged women and children in 269 communities in 12 countries around the world, sharing the mission of Quota International.
